Based in northern Michigan and deeply inspired by the Great Lakes, Mae Stier is a writer and photographer. Her poetry project “Lake Letters” resulted in the self-publication of her book of the same name, Lake Letters, a collection of poetry, essays, and photographs.

When not writing poetry, Mae is a wedding and family photographer, specializing in heartfelt and intentional imagery that emphasizes connection.
